Keyboard

You can use the following keyboard shortcuts while composing a track.

spacebar

Press to start or stop playback.

commandcontrol key

Hold down the commandcontrol key while drawing notes to create "loud" notes.

optionalt key

Hold down the optionalt key while drawing notes to create "soft" notes.

shift

Advanced

Playback starting point

By default, playback always starts from the beginning of a track. This can be difficult if you want to focus your attention on a piece in the middle, or near the end.

You can change where playback begins by setting the playback start marker. You can do this by clicking white area just above the grid. A blue arrow icon will be placed where you click. Playback will now start from this point.

Clicking on the arrow icon again will remove it.

Column volume

There is a speaker icon to the left of each row on the grid.

Click this icon once and you can control the volume of that row.

Double click this icon and you can mute or unmute the row.

Sweet Dreams is awesome! I love how the bell melody, snare, kick, and vibra crunchy thing sound nice together.

Constructive Criticism(these are just my ideas, if you think some of these are fine, dont change them): -At end it just turns into crazy dubstep, which doesnt go with the title or first theme at all. -I would make the FogGrowl sound a little less loud. (80%-90%) -The Enraptured open hi hat thing doesnt quite fit with the rest of the song (i suggest making it a small square to lower the volume so its not as noticable or just changing it out with another cool-sounding open hi hat sound)

Hope this helps!

Thank you for your opinion. I guess I could use a little improvement in some areas, but I really like this track and I hope to become better in the future.

Your welcome. I think its really smart to ask other peoples opinion of tracks and receive feedback. Even if you dont think it will help, try out some of my suggestions in hope of making it even better. If you end up disliking it, just switch it back to your way; dont let anybody's opinion get entirely in the way of your track's progress and sound. If you think differently, just do what you think is right. I bet most professional beat-makers dont get paid to listen and make exactly what someone else wants; they will add their unique touch to it.

Thanks, I will ask for the opinion of others in the future.

Now that I think of it, I was intending for the dubstep part to be nightmarish, so I should've titled it Sweet Nightmares. Oh well

lol i always get nightmares confused with dreams. you could always remix it and just change the name (click on a square and then unclick on that same square so that you can bypass that annoying "you havent made changes to your track" pop-up...)
